Environmental Philosophy

My Environmental Philosophy Courses have ranged from standard environmental ethics courses to courses in Environmental Justice and a course exploring the human-nature relationship called Environmental Values. in each of these, I aim to address a variety of disciplinary perspectives through a philosophical lens by helping students to develop some skills that they can bring to bear on the particular environmental issues or problems. These issues can range from the permissibility of de-extinction through cloning to how to engage in more just zoning decisions at the level of municipal government.
